PF - 1970-01-18 - Croydon

In the most general terms, we are going to start voyaging slowly through the history of Pink Floyd starting in 1970 (since we did very early material not too long ago) and avoiding interviews and radio shows (since we did those not long ago). I will also leave out most of the Harvested and Free Range Pigs releases, because they are so common and we went through them all not so long ago. Otherwise, my intention is to post every version of every show that I can locate. I will always put as much information in the comments as possible to help you to decide which (if any) you should download.

The passwords - for all PF audio - unless otherwise noted - will be the YEAR. So, in the case of the next couple of dozen posts, the password will always be 1970. Requests for clarification will be ignored. So, you might want to jot this down somewhere.

Audio material goes by rather quickly, so I think I'll be able to work in more requests now. (The DVDs sometimes took 24 hours EACH to upload.)

Sgt Weatherman's Mono Saucerful

This a different Mono transfer, done by Sgt Weatherman. Here are his notes - I recorded it using a AKAI AP-81 record deck, JVC AK-100 amp (so old it was made in Japan), through a Creative Audigy2 sound card then compiled it with Audio DVD Maker. Its A PAL DVD Audio (not an audio DVD, don't know how to do that). Its not a mint LP. I have owned it for over 40 years (bought the day it was released) but it sounds pretty good and sounds better than any version of of the STEREO mix and better than the Odeon MONO Boot (rather muddy sound)

I had intended to re-post this along with the rest of Sgt Weatherman's releases back here. But, I couldn't find the thing - because, it turns out, I did not have it labelled well. Don't make the same mistake!
