I recorded this in the Rice University open-air stadium from my seat on the floor, centerstage, on about row 11 (forgot the exact number). The bass was BOOMING very loudly (my chest was vibrating) through the whole concert. The loud volume of the bass over-powered my little microphone, so the sound quality isn't perfect. During High Hopes, a little rain started to fall. During Wish You Were Here, the clouds opened and the storm hit very hard. The wind was swirling violently, blowing the rain under Floyd's arched stage. During Brick 2, David switched guitars at least twice (his guitar tech was drying them off and handing them back to him). After Another Brick Part 2, Rick began the intro to Great Gig In The Sky and the wet keyboard shocked him (he jumped a few feet back from the keys when it happened). David decided to proceed with Money, during which he switched guitars a few times, trying to keep a dry one for more than 2 minutes. Then David said that they would play Run Like Hell and then take a break to see if the weather would calm down. During Run Like Hell, all the electricity to the instruments turned off, and the concert ended. About 10 minutes after the band left the stage, the storm killed ALL of the electricity for the entire stadium. Everyone was leaving, crowded, in the dark, with only a few emergency bulbs lit by generators in the halls. In the next morning's newspaper, it was revealed that the power to the band's instruments was turned off by Steve O'Rourke who decided that the rain and lightening (and Rick getting shocked) was just too much of a health hazard for the band to risk continuing. Even if the band had continued, they would not have played any more than 10 minutes more before all of the electricity would have stopped. The last 2 tracks are radio ads for 2 other Floyd concerts on the 1994 tour.
