Notes: Dat clone directly off the dat master from the JEMS archives. This is an excellent sounding recording and maybe the best audience recording sound wise of the Division Bell tour. This one is recommended for the most casual of Floyd fan looking to pick up a recording from this tour. M the taper of the show and 'E' would attend many shows together around this time usually both taping but for this show only M ran any gear this night. This copy comes from E's clone of the master. They sat very close to the stage this night and a ticket stub scan of E's ticket is included with the flac files. This may be the first time (Dec. 2010) a copy of this recording has been circulated that is not sourced from one of the various bootleg pressed releases of this recording. This should also be longer than any copies out there in it that it seems a few minutes of the intro in to Astronomy Domine has been omitted from bootleg releases to fit the recording on 2 cds.
Pink Floyd: Your Favorite Desease. (Capricorn :: CR-20018/19) Recorded Live at Rose Bowl, Pasadena, CA, USA - April 16, 1994. Excellent audience Recording :: Bootleg Silver CD/s

Files: 21. :: Size: 728 MB (flac). Total Time: 02:25:12 hour/s. *** The Division Bell Tour ***
Notes: There is no mention of it anywhere on the CDs or the packaging, but this is from the first Rose Bowl show. Sound is clear (though not quite as clear as "Live Bell") and consistent throughout; bass is strong and sounds saturated in just a few spots. - THE HEDONIST :: "Your Favorite Disease" gets a 7 or 7+ on the "inspiration & improvisation" factor. Excellent digital fidelity and stereo separation (DDD), though stereo is a little bit off center, but still great; I'll give it a 9+ or 10 for fidelity and stereo. No close audience noise. Packaging is very low budget, and doesn't even say what city/date it's from, but someone on the Echoes Digest told me it was the first Rose Bowl show, 16 Apr 94. The standard show (no DSoTM set). Also a keeper. -ECHOES.<-(Info taken from pf-roio.de).

Note 1: This is one of the finest audience recordings I've ever heard. To quote the 'Pink Floyd RoIO Database' "...the sound quality is good throughout - about as good as I have heard from an audience tape. I'd say a DAT for sure. Bass is good and clean."

*In the early 1990s a legal loophole in the Australian copyright laws allowed bootleggers to factory-manufacture and sell, in high street shops, unlicenced and unauthorised live recordings of numerous artists. This loophole was closed very quickly by legislators and consequently the bootlegs produced disappeared, although some can still be found in 2nd-hand shops to this day. The audio sources of the bootlegs were usually radio broadcasts and the sound quality was very good even though each title, released on fly-by-night labels such as 'Chartbusters', 'SW', 'Joker', 'Cherry' and some others, carried a disclaimer stating, for example, "This recording has not been authorised by the artist or his record company. This CD may not be of the same sound quality as an authorised release."

Stealth Productions has deemed this performance to be worth the time and effort to remaster. In this Rev only a few minor repairs were performed.
Amplitude raised 14%. Horn spikes between 4-8k reduced to average db level, swept by parametric filter with narrow Q and centered on spike with required db.
